  1. I really was impressed by the accessibility.. and thought behind your work. I am a seminary student.. (in mid life) a conservative.. who is actively involved with life on the west side of Los Angeles.. I am writing a paper on Post Modernisity Worldview.. and response..

I find so much in the world as accommodationist.. it scares me frankly.. and I just left a church…. yet I see the striking need for relevance and an incarnational approach … Yet.. I find I am more effective as a conservative fundamentalist so to speak who keeps my mouth shut.. while working in the gay and lesbian center for people with eating disorders.. in a twelve step program. .. Holding what I believe.. finding the common ground through sharing my experience in Christ.. later on.. with someone who asks.. than the watered down social activist approach of those in a soley emergent congregation.. whos beginning confession is that they have more questions than answers … and then .. almost seem to villify contemporary evangelicalism.. as a way of endearing themselves… to the predominant culture on the westside. … I am searching for a balance of relevance in my life and context of ministry.. thank you…
